The trekking region is highly busy in peak season due to numerous flexible moderate and adventurous itineraries.
The Annapurna Base Camp trek that can be completed in 10 days takes you to the base camp of Mount Annapurna 8091m. Equally important Annapurna Round trekking covers a significantly large section of Annapurna trekking region making Thorong-La pass a center of attraction and challenge. Ghorepani Ghandruk Circuit trek is more or less village tour of Himalayas. This is popular trekking region on lower belt among amateur trekkers and for those who have short trekking days for Nepal. Annapurna Kaligandaki trekking mostly covers the landscape of wide and deep Kaligandaki valley in between Mount Dhaulagiri and Mount Annapurna. Nar Phu Valley trekking takes you to one of the isolated villages in the deep heart of Himalayas visited only by few trekkers. Tilicho Lake with and without Mesokanto-La is the most adventurous and demanding itinerary that requires equipment as much as to peak climbing. Needless to say, for extra thrill and adventure, peak climbing is another most cherished activity to do in Annapurna trekking region. It requires extra 2-3 days on standard trekking itineraries. Again Chulu Far East is the easiest one, Chulu East the most technical. Pisang peak can be another option that requires moderate mountaineering skill including Chulu West.
