Nepal Government soon to take a bold step to stop fraud medical and helicopter rescue of trekkers in Nepal. It has been hampering the tourism reputation of Nepal for so long. A committee formed by Nepal Government has submitted 700-page reports to Department of Tourism. The committee study the rescue operation practices of trekkers in different European countries and Canada.

There were nasty practices of the rescue operation of trekkers in Nepal from different trekking regions of Nepal. Normally profiting the trekking agencies and brokers. Even foreign-based insurance company had been complaining such scam repeatedly. Moreover,  they are threatening of ending the insurance policy of Helicopter Rescue in Nepal. Trekking agencies book the trekking packages at the cheap price. They earn hefty amount as a commission after the rescue operation of trekkers in Nepal. It has been continuously condemned by genuine entrepreneurs of tourism sectors.

The government has a plan of introducing Nepal police for the investigation and verification of such rescue operation from the upcoming autumn season. Genuine trekking entrepreneurs are excited with this step of government. However how effectively it will be implemented is a major concern.
